  • Daffodil (if you are hunting indoors, you could use an artificial daffodil)
  • Chocolate
  • Basket
  • Easter Bonnet
  • Cross
  • Bunny Ears
  • Cracked Egg
  • Easter Bunny
  • Lamb
  • Candy
  • Tulip
  • Bow
  • Carrot

Bonus Items to Hunt:

The printable page also includes a bonus item: Shiny Egg. It also encourages students to design an Easter egg!

For extra fun, give your student a magnifying glass and allow her to carefully examine the items as she finds them.

Benefits of the Easter Scavenger Hunt

This Easter scavenger hunt is great as a go-along with your spring theme. It provides many benefits for your student.

  • Scavenger hunts boost observation skills. As your child looks for objects, he will develop better observation skills.
  • Scavenger hunts require movements; this promotes gross motor development.
  • A scavenger hunt can provide safe sensory input for your student (feel the soft flower petals, taste the crunchy carrot, smell the chocolate, look for the shiny egg, etc.)
  • Coloring the items on the page promote fine motor skills.

If you work on the scavenger hunt as a team, it will promote cooperation and social skills development.

Additionally, the bonus item will increase creative and critical thinking skills as your child has to determine what is shiny.
