Benefits of the Shape Game Printable

These printable games are a fantastic way to introduce or review shapes with your student.

  • As you play the game, your student will learn to recognize and name twelve different shapes: circle, oval, heart, square, triangle, rectangle, star, crescent, pentagon, hexagon, diamond, and octagon.
  • The shape game will also help your student learn how to take turns.
  • Rolling the die and moving the marker around the game board will exercise fine motor skills.

How to Assemble the Shape Game

You will need cardstock, scissors, and glue for this shape game.

  1. Print the game boards on cardstock. If desired, laminate for durability.
  2. Print the dice cubes on cardstock. Assemble according to the directions provided.

That’s it! You are ready to roll and review shapes with your student. Be sure to call out the shape names as the dice is rolled; this will help your student learn as you play.
