Animals and Products Cards
In Ask Mr. Bear each animal has something to offer Danny as a gift for his mother. Color the animals and products and use them for one or more of these activities:

  1. Matching Game
    match animal to its gift suggestion/animal to product
  2. Story Sequencing
    put the cards in the order they are found in the story
  3. Animal Actions
    Put animal cards face down in a “pond” and let student choose one. When he turns it over, act out the animal.
  4. Memory Game
    Hide the cards from your student and play a memory game. Ask your student to recall the animals in the story. When he mentions one, let him “win” the card. You can do the same kind
    of game with the animal products.

Animal Sounds Matchbooks
Match the animals to the sounds they make and paste them in the matchbooks. Have fun reviewing these!
