1. Mark works two days per week at Mar-Gra's. If he works for
eight weeks, how many days will that be?
2. Mark picked up six clear pieces of sea glass and eleven pieces of
colored sea glass. How much more colored than clear glass did he collect?
3. The umbrellas are opened on six tables. There are fourteen tables
in all. How many umbrellas does Mark have left to crank open?
4. Uncle Al has an order for twelve hamburgers. Cousin Rollie has
already cooked seven. How many more does he have to cook?
5. Two lobster rolls are on a tray. Each lobster roll cost $2.50.
How much for both rolls?
6. Mom and Dad each ordered a hamburger at MarGra's. They also
ordered a hamburger for each child. They ordered eight hamburgers in all.
How many children are in the family?
7. Sixteen cars are parked at MarGra's. Seven of the cars are
convertibles. How many cars are not convertibles?
8. A small order of French fries is forty-five cents. A hamburger is
seventy-five cents. How much money is needed to buy a hamburger and fries?
9. Clam chowder is one dollar per bowl. How much does it cost to buy
two bowls?
10. How many one cup servings of chowder are in one quart?

answer)
