My Seed Book
Make a simple book about seeds and their products (fruit, flower, tree, etc.).
Print one copy of the My Seed Book and print one copy of the My Seed
Book Images. The images are listed side by side (what seed produces
which product) for your convenience. Use the pages to make an
accordian style or zig-zag minit book (or simply staple them together).

For a lesson extension, try taking a nature walk and look for seeds (pinecones,
acorns, nuts, flower seeds, etc.)! Look them up in a nature
reference book when you get home. If the weather isn't cooperating, try an
in-home scavenger hunt for seeds. How many can your student find? (dry
beans, grain of rice, peas, sunflower seeds; you could even eat a piece of
fruit-- orange, grapefruit, peach, etc. to find more seeds).
