Little Nino's Pizzeria
Homophone Memory Game
list compiled by Cindi Pare
game made by Ami Brainerd

Instructions:
Simple Mode (using cards with two pizzas)
This game is designed for two people.  Print one copy of the game cards (below).  Cards should be laid down on a surface in rows/columns.  Players take turns flipping pairs of cards over.   If the two cards match (are homophones), the player scores one point and the match is removed from the game (the player can place his matches in front of him until the game is over).  If the player does not find a match, the cards should be turned back over before the next player's turn.
The object of the game is to match more pairs of cards than the opposing player.  After all the matches have been found, players should count how many matches they have.  The person with the most matches is declared the winner.

Advanced Mode (using cards with three pizzas)
This version is played the same as the simple mode except players get to turn over three cards each turn (instead of the traditional two).  Players must find all three of one card to get a match.  Once all five matches have been found, the game is over and the person who has the most matches is declared the winner.

Print Game Cards (you will need Adobe Acrobat to open this file)
You may want to print on cardstock for durability.
