Ferdinand Story Templates
contributed by Ami
This is to be used in conjunction with the "Language Arts: Animal Fantasy
Story" lesson in the FIAR Volume II manual pg. 81.
Following the Animal Fantasy Story lesson, ask your student if he would like to
create his own Animal Fantasy story.
The template provided allows your student to mimic the style of Munro Leaf.
Oftentimes, we mimic the style of the illustrator to learn a new art technique;
similarly, we can mimic an author in order to learn how to write.
The half sheet templates have smaller pages (and will look more like a book) for
those students who can write smaller or for those students who need to dictate
the story for the teacher to fill in the blanks. The full sheet templates
are best suited for those writers who are just learning how to write.
Blank pages are included in both books for illustrations.
