The following chart matches Sonl

The following chart matches Sonlight titles with FIAR titles.  Most of the Sonlight selections are from Cores K-4 with a few from Core 5.   I am not sure about some of the FIAR Volume IV selections as I don't have that volume yet.  If you see one that seems out of place, please let me know.  Also, if you have a suggestion for a Sonlight/FIAR match-up that is not on this chart, please submit it.   I will be updating this chart as I get to know some of the FIAR selections better.

How to use this chart?  I plan to just choose one Sonlight read aloud to go with each FIAR picture book.  However, some of the Sonlight books are picture books, so you may want to preview at your library before you decide to choose just one book.   Another way you could use this chart is to assign your older students a chapter book that matches the unit your younger ones are studying.

RA= recommended read aloud grade level for the Sonlight suggestions
